Lanchen, You are 💯% CORRECT, & did the ABSOLUTE RIGHT THING! I ran my own international award winning wedding & portrait photography biz. I never do tutorials, YET, I have on occasion helped mentor someone when I can see the younger me in them, and want to help ease their path. Thou if asked for tips, ideas, or how-to's, I offer mentoring at either an hourly rate, or a rate for accompanying them to shoots, client meetings etc to help them learn how to's of every aspect of the biz. When YOU value your talent, THEN strangers sense or see that in you and it's VERY motivating for the client. When they see your joy + calm centered confidence for your talent/skill/knowledge, they know there's something special to be had. Never bargain with people on your work bc what supreme pro would? Mozart? Ansel Adams going to give a discount or price break bc someone tried to haggle? No. It IMMEDIATELY reduces your talent to bargain store level. Great job listening to your inner voice💗

You are the best imho at what you do on YT. As a master faux artist I was looking for realistic nebula/solar artwork. I have been working on revamping a 93 Jayco camper. Holy 🐮 a tutorial without words! I can easily copy your hand movements and brush types and colors, I love the option to not use slow movements that drag on forever, I hate those kinds of tutorials they’re way to slow-paced for me

Funny thing about this time when I was painting in my art class at school, the teacher wanted the class to follow a painting tutorial, and as I followed, halfway I was like, screw it im doing my own thing, so I did, and the teacher was kinda mad at first but soon got chill with me doing my own thing. And great painting by the way, it's amazing😊

You are great at demonstrating how you make your art, but this is NOT a tutorial. Tutorial involves in explaining techniques, skills and even some basic details(like how did you make the stars, dotting or splashing?) So sometimes a cool artist doesn’t mean you can teach art. lol 😂
